Dear, My Diary

13th June,2013 - Dear diary, it was around 11:30 p.m., I was listening to songs and by side checking out my face in the mirror again and again. No, I am not self obsessed. I just do so as it’z my favourite pass time. Suddenly, the song stopped and my phone flashed a number, an unknown number but within a second I recalled this number. I deleted this number a few months back from my phone contacts but couldn't delete it from my mind though.

It waz “HER" number. No diary, she wazn’t my girlfriend. She waz much more then that. At-least for me she waz but gradually her love for me faded. She changed, she totally changed. She started ignoring me for no reason. I used to call her alwayz, no response from her side, infact there waz simply no initiation from her side at all. Yes, I WAZ A MERE OPTION FOR HER.

In her list of countless friendz now I stood nowhere. May be coz she lost her interest in me or may be coz she found someone better but whatever the reason waz, I waz hurt. I am not meant to be just an “OPTION" in someone’z life. Don’t I have my dignity? My self-respect? Don’t I deserve to be treated properly? Just the way it used to be earlier?

Often in life we are simply treated as an option in our special one’z life which is the most frustrating thing but what I feel is that every individual, be it a girl or a guy should maintain their dignity. Carrying on a relation by sacrificing your self-respect and keeping your moral valuez on stake will loose your importance not only in that person’z eye but also in your own eye. I saw “HER" call, cut it, smiled and thought...
